Terry punches him in the face.
Stan:That wasn't campy at all!
Stan: Wait, you fight just like my kids. Roger then puts a stack of books on top of Klaus's bowl, trapping him, and wonders why they didn't just do that nine months earlier.
Tank retorts that thousands of drunk football fans will literally cheer for anything, ruining Stan's point.

This episode includes examples of:
- Bread, Eggs, Breaded Eggs: In a visual example, Francine imagines Stan's response to telling him that she's pregnant.
So when he visits, Terry says he's living with Francine and that Stan is gay.Terry's father, a former star fullback for the Redskins, doesn't know that Terry is gay. Tank makes it clear he understands how homosexuality works, is not a closeted queer man, and doesn't care at all that his son has no choice in how he identifies, he still hates it.
- If people in your family can't accept you for your orientation, then sometimes it's better to just cut them out as soon as possible.
I don't know why I said that.
.
DS9 actually did have a surrogacy plot line in Season 5."Your doctor called. They'll cheer for anything!
Although when Terry starts to berate Stan after Tank makes it clear beyond a doubt he won't accept his son being gay, Francine steps forward and defends Stan. Legal surrogacy contracts were not approved until 2019.
Meanwhile, Roger buys alcohol for Steve and his friends.
Tropes:
- Anti-Alcohol Aesop: Steve's subplot has him realize that underage drinking is wrong when he finds out that he kissed a very ugly girl while hammered.
- Brutal Honesty: Tank bluntly admits he had no inkling of Terry's sexuality, doesn't care if it makes him happy, and knows it's not his choice, but still finds it utterly disgusting.
- The Casanova: Tank Bates is described as a notorious womanizer who slept with all the cheerleaders, the coach's daughter, and the announcer's wife, shattering their family.
- Dirty Coward: Terry completely balks when he tries to tell Tank that he's gay, instead claiming Francine is his girlfriend with Libby as their illegitimate child and Greg and Stan are the gay couple across the street.
Greg and Terry's response is to put on some "rumble" music from West Side Story and engage in a dance-based battle, nimbly avoiding Stan's attacks, and pulling off over-the-top pretend attacks rather than actually attacking him, to his annoyance. So when he visits, Terry says he's living with Francine and that Stan is gay.
