One of the Coconut Complex bars, head up to the rooftop for views over Fourth Street’s rainbow-painted crossing and dance to cool beats from local DJs who spin late into the night.

The RuPaul stars also make regular appearances. Oilcan is confirmed to relocate temporarily during the smash down but will return to its original spot once the 4th’s makeover is complete.


Located directly next door to Oilcan Harry’s, Rain on 4th is Austin’s upscale gay lounge sporting a brilliantly lit dance floor that is always on fire.

There are actually six bars in total, so you need not worry about being caught in line all night, and if you are, then the go-go boys will surely keep everyone entertained. The venue also serves up some quality grub, including a vegan food truck at the back alongside housemade juice cocktails and kombucha at the bar. Think leather, harnesses, and, um, more leather.
